Re: Wader size help needed

You would have been fine with the simms. I have a size 9 foot, bought size 10 boots and wish I had got 11. 10's are okay but 11's would be better. See Fred Evans comment, he is right on. I only wear...

Re: Leader/tippet importance

Re: Tippett rings

I've been using them for awhile and will continue to use them. They are already on cutthroat leaders so I don't have to put one on them. I ordered it with it on there.

Re: Leader Straightener

Just pull and stretch it or use one of cutthroat leaders furled leaders. I was using a regular leader the last time out and thought I like my furled leaders better.

Re: A Very Timely Test & Review of Grip Studs

The kold kutter screws are hex headed but with some pretty good "biting" edges. After using them awhile they wear down quicker than I thought they would. For the price and the quantity you get I...

Re: want opinions on fly fishing vests....

I went with the G3 Guide vest after looking at reviews. In my case I felt like spending the money for the vest would be worth it in the long run. So far the simms gear I own has been worth the money.
