Re: What flies to use this time of year

Like we were talking about in the other thread, and as I am sure they will tell you when you call them, they still feed the trout in the stream with beetles, so I would head to the stream with at...

Yeah, Wyoming is gorgeous. Definitely on the much-later list.

Gotta start with the backyard first though. Want to go to the Pere Marquette again this year, along with Muskegon. Would REALLY like...

Re: Spring Fishing at Bennett Spring and Maramec Spring in MO

Bennett Springs is where I saw real fly fishing for the first time. The graceful stuff, not the stuff I saw some guys doing around a lake when I was smaller and went fishing with dad. The pure grace...

Re: Reel-E-Good Post

Yeah, I can imagine the hand crafted ones could be nice or really shoddy, I guess it depends on the workmanship.

If I had all the tools to make a hand-made line winder, I would do that, but it was...

Re: Reel-E-Good Post

The device itself is really solid if all the screws are tightened all the way. I used my power...

Re: Old fly line to leader connect

I know they still make the loops that you attach onto the end of fly line to make a loop to loop connection with weighted tips or leaders with a perfection loop. They're made by Cortland and called...

Re: Spring Fishing at Bennett Spring and Maramec Spring in MO

Last year Bennett wasn't too crowded when we went, but, if I remember right, it was closer to the middle of the summer. I don't like the idea...

Re: Whats the weirdest thing you've caught while fly fishing?

First Forum Post
