My experience with browns is that they don't get in a big hurry to leave once they get in the water. I think they hang around trying to think of a way to get even with you for dragging them around...

Saw lightning come up out of the sink in a river house. The kid standing there drinking a coke about had a baby...lol. Fortunately no one was injured.

Seriously, taking a minute to get a pic of a bluegill or bass is not a big deal. They are tough as nails compared to trout.

I don't think anyone should feel bad about taking a picture of a fish...

I use Whiting bugger hackle.

Those hooks will work. I tied my last batch on the salmon hooks from Allen though.

It isn't unusual here for thunderstorms with tons of lightning to just pop up out of nowhere...of course, this is part of tornado alley so keeping an eye on the weather is always a good idea.
