Re: Orvis Hydros SL vs. Allen Kraken XLA (8wt.)

I have been fishing the Hydros SL since it was first released and am extremely impressed. I don't know how they made a great reel even better for a lower price, but they did. I have been fishing...

Re: Fly on a bobber

This is pretty common in saltwater fishing, they use a wooden egg with a screw it it to hook the fly to while they cast. Seems to work well for the guys that don't fly fish when the bait is too...

Re: 6-7wt 11' switch rod

Haha, it is as close to new as it could possibly be too. It is a SWEET stick. I actually bought the 5wt a week later because the rivers near me are small and so are the fish. It hurt spending the...

Re: 6-7wt 11' switch rod

No problem at all. I most likely wont be listing it for sale so it should be here if you want it in the future. It would be $600 with line and I would cover paypal fees and shipping.

What's even cooler than the snakes is that Ted Williams wrote the article. I bet he is in Islamorada casting a fly at a tarpon as we speak.

Re: Do we need expensive rod to fly fish with?
