I concur with Stenacron's selection as well.

I like some other traditional flies for lakes like the Renegade, Brown Hackle Peacock and one of my favorite still water flies is a BHP...deadly...

Mouch makes a good point on tight cover.

I do not prefer rods that are shorter than 7'6" in any fishing situation.

I did make a custom 18" 0 wt for my kids to use in the fish tank though.
