I apologize...

We were fully equipped to attack with the fly rods, however, it was a windy and overcast afternoon. Sight casting was not possible and I am not as good in the wind with a fly rod...

I have fished the Outer Banks of North Carolina for 20 years. Unfortunately there have been drastic changes there with regards to beach access for vehicles related to nesting sites.

Capt. Carter Bates is the one who put us on tarpon, lots of tarpon, and eventually we hooked one on the Palolo Worm pattern.

looked them up yesterday and back ordered 2 issues from 2007. there were articles in am angler and saltwater flyfishing in 07. keeping my fingers crossed...thanks again for the headz...
