I use a 10wt 7'11" TFO and with a 10wt reel and have no problem landing the carp. But were I fish in NC there is alot of trash in the water...

1st crack at some game changers. I have tested one and it swims with good movement just need to give a better hair cut.

Have no clue. But as soon as I used the tack free and the brushable no bleeding. When I used the hydro it would not start bleeding colors until I zapped it with the light. I would paint my poppers...

Thanks for the info. I must be dumb.. Looked at the clear cure goo I was using and sure enough I was using the hydro. Switched to the brushable and no problem. Liked the pics everybody posted

Was wondering what u guys use to finish your poppers. I use the copic airbrush to paint the popper. I let it dry and have no bleeding of color. As soon as I put the clear cure goo on it to help make...

I have the CT in a 3wt and I am very pleased with it. I use it more than my 5wts when I am on the lake. It is actually my fav. rod. That is what I would go with.

Little help, It is time to replace my old float tube (just an old cheap tube I got form my friend). My fly fishing buddy has an Outcast fat cat that I like. I have had my eye on the super fat cat....

man I have been tying for a good while and I still can't stack and spin deer hair that good. Hell of a job, can't wait to see the other ones you tie.

Very nice setup.

did the same thing with my walk in closet. I have materials pegged out. Thats were I go when my wife starts giving orders that I don't want to do.

I wish carp would get that big in the lake and areas I fish. Most are in the 6-12 range, some get over 15, but they a few and far between.

NC Lake trip

I have couple of sage reels but for the money you can't go wrong with the Okuma slv reels. I have them in 7 and 10wt and love them. I have used them for over two years with no problem.

Its that time when I go out in the surf and catch some bluefish....
I had to tie up some surfcandy and some bobs bangers. they are the only two flies I seem to catch blues on.....

Don't know about fav. pattern. But I do enjoy tying saltwater flies more than dry, wet, or other freshwater flies. It might be that I really enjoy saltwater fishing more even though I fish freshwater...
