Here where I am in the mid west we got hammered with 3.8 inches of rain and ping pong hail in 30 minutes. Damaged about every house in town. The last 2 days I have measured siding windows and roofs...

We have just had a bunch of snow and rains, the over flow is running. At first I thought battle scares and very well could be, there are bass and flatheads in that pond, but still I ain't gonna eat...

sick looking trout

I am teaching my son how to fly fish, he is loving every minute of it. I took him to a 2 acre stocked pond here in town today. The water is murky as is everyother body of water in this county....

Here where I live you would be better off staying on dry ground. You can't out run a water moccasin if your in the water.

I to live in Kansas, and go to Mo for trout, if you google Missouri trout fishing there are several places within Branson driveing distance that hold trout. Good Luck.

You can get the Martin Caddis rod and reel for 20.00. You just have to add backing line and tippet. Thats the rod I use and works pretty good. I'm getting ready to build my rod.

Here in Kansas for atleast the last 4 days we have been battleing winds nocking on the door of 35-40 mph. Does anyone try to fish in such wind. I'm itching to get my line wet, but these dang winds...

New to the forum

Hello all, I'm new here but not to fly fishing. I live here in Southeast Kansas, not much for trout streams but Missouri Arkansas and Oklahoma ain't far away.
