Re: Float trips in VT and NY

In VT, I've always been interested in trying out the Lamoille River, but never have floated it. Also look up the Northern Forest Canoe Trail.

Naturally you'll do your research on dams, flows,...

Re: tackle suggestions

I have no clue about fishing Reds.
About the BVK 8 wt - I've been considering the same rod for stripers, etc.

Never cared again until one Father's Day...

Aside from price (sales, etc.) what's the practical difference between say, Mirage 0X .011" and Mirage 16lb. .011"? I understand the labels indicate...

Re: A Very Timely Test & Review of Grip Studs

I'll bet the studs tested are great.

I'm 67 [read: not as steady as I used to be] and I fish freestone rivers that can be pretty slippery. [No felt allowed in VT.] So I bought a pair of Korkers...

Red face Re: Saltwater fly/tackle boxes
