are there any solutions that people use that allow for more integrity of the abdomen? is this a realistic concern to have as i have not fished bioted abdomen flies? does adding some glue provide...

i understand most people would never advise one to do this but i have experienced situations where the fish suggested it was necessary.

to echo a couple aforementioned reasons; disconnect from reality, fly fishing typically places one in remote, pristine and beautiful places, i find mayfly's and trout to be the most beautiful species...
