These "heroes" are an issue. Ive tried to take the hands off approach to wildlife viewing but sometimes-especially at Yellowstone-I have had to remind people that they are not approaching a kitty...

The Redington Butter Stick has a nice feel for a 6'2wt 3 piece and at 249 leaves room for reel and line.

Ive never fished out that way but I have been there a few times. Make sure you write up a report and post pics of all of the fish you catch.

My only advice would be to wait on the fly purchase...

dont skimp on the bear spray. Its sold everywhere. Stretch your neck really well in the morning so you don't get sore from rubber necking at all of the sights. ITs a special place.

Mostly from my point is good though. I fish mostly alone or with limited intel. this will help me to new locations and accessible waters instead of guessing.
