For day trips I could be fishing trout, in less than 5 minutes, however I rarely find myself fishing here in the city.
It only goes up from there, the fishing gets better about 20 or 25 minutes...

It really is amazing with all the high tech stuff I have purchased along the way, that this is what I choose to use.
It is small, fits in my pocket and takes decent pictures, I am no photographer...

While it is something to take serious and respect, I honestly feel that it is an easier float when up high like this. All the rocks are under and the rapids are just big rollers.

IMO the best wet wading boot is your current wading boot with a guard sock.
If you already have wading boots a pair of guard socks will give you the support and comfort you need. Your not going to...

Southfork Snake River

Spent six days up in Idaho on the South Fork this last week and it was fishing pretty well to say the least!
Salmonflies, PMD'S, Drakes and streamers seemed to be the ticket, but the entire river...

IMO that sounds about right, the snake is much better from a boat and you would be better off on foot fishing the Teton or renting the "Yak".

Another thing that comes to mind is to keep an eye on Red Creek, depending on seasonal flows or weather, it can completely blow out the second half of the B section all the way...

Like he said check out Trout Creek Flies for shuttle details.

They also have hatch charts, rapid details and fishing reports for that matter.
