It's not an expensive rod,Abbey & Imbrie Brook Trout.It belonged to my grandfather and would like it to look nicer.It fishes great, 2 piece and the joint is tight.

Waterworks/Lampson reels are great saltwater reels with a pretty bulletproof drag system.

Unhappy 3 or 4 weight ?

I have a custom 7.5' 4 weight rod,my problem is it flexes to much and recovers to slow with 4 weight line.Should I try 3 weight line to fix the problem? Thanks,Larry.

I live in Norco area and am new to flyfishing.Due to blood pressure,need to stay below 4500 elevation.Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks,Larry
