If you just need a new zipper, I wouldn't go to a seamstress but would find a luggage repair shop. They have all kinds of heavy duty zippers and are experts in installing them.

I you go with the Bimini Twist to the fly line loop you can avoid any hangups by attaching the Twist in the following maner. It will keep the loop closed and not put as much pressure...

The only problem with the Orvis winder is that they have never figured out that it needs a counterbalance to the winding handle or you will end up with backlashes at slow winding speeds.

Keep it simple.
Definitely use a tripod.
Set you shutter to delay. (To avoid camera shake.)
Set your camera's white balance for the light source
As for the backdrop, I like to use an 8 X 10 gray...
