I am looking at tying some of Anderssons Sid articulated streamer patterns. It calls for Fox Fur as a collar. Not sure what I could use to substitute for it, but does anyone have a source for a fur...

Nothing wrong with those. Fish aren't gonna care if a line isn't straight or an eye is off a bit. They look like fish catchers to me.

Robinson Lake has a pretty good pike population and lots of panfish. Not a real big lake Some of the pike are pretty good but most of the bigger ones are caught thru the ice.

Cabelas has some great prices on their TLR series fly rods. Anyone fish them.?? I am thinking about a switch rod or even a 9 / 10 wt single hand for an extra pike rod.

That isn't a bad looking reel and a very moderate price for a fly reel. I agree I kinda skimp on my light outfits as they just hold line. My steelhead and salmon outfits I have gone with a bit more...

Lamson reels are great, even their budget line of Konic reels. I have been pleased with a couple Cabelas reels I own in the wind river and premier models for 5-6 wt rods. I do love their RLS reel on...

Heard nothing but great things about Beulah rods. I started using a Sage 99 and 10' rods for indy fishing. So much better than a 9 footer.

Musky / Pike flyline

In watching some youtube videos I have seen some of the guys using a blue flyline in probably 9 or 10 wt. Any idea what line that could be for tossing those big streamers.??? Thanks
