Got my rod about a week ago been fishing it ever since, It handles a 6# air flo ridge supply trout great, it handles a Cortland 444 7# great but IMO it cast a 8# 444 the best, all lines are WF-F....

No i,m here in NL Canada, still after the returning sea trout, man this is nerve racking, 4 and 5 lb trout jumping and you can,t hook one. I lov it ka.ka,ka, Rosco P coltrain.

Smoke on the water

Left the river early tonight, no good, smoke on the water, chilly tonight only had 4 rises before the sun went down. Ho well, better than none. Think it,s going to be a early winter.

Airflo Ridge WF-F

I use a ridge flotter line but I cut of the front loop off and use a nylon leader link by Eagle Claw. Works great, low strech. low friction I think they are great lines. Whats your opinon?Thanks

Ge I thought St Croix Was Very famous in Fly rods. I have had just about everything they made at one time or another. I now own the Legend Elite in FW968-4 No trouble to cast the full line. Nice rod.

Tried it yesterday and today, Roll cast and shoot line like a dream. Back casts good to , no trouble to feel rod load. And good feel not like the Legend Ultra I had. This ones a keeper.
