Re: Confessions of a Serial Fish Killer

Do you think you've done the right thing by stabbing multiple fish through the mouth all day long... Maybe you should try putting a hook in your mouth and then pull it out. We want to keep the...

Re: Vintage Rods

Like Fred says... They're good for lighter weight rods and reels... I have them on a short 5wt and most of the time my reel is off center... But I have them on a 2wt as well and the reel is much...

Re: "If you run into a grizzly...this might not work"

The other day I read an article of a guy who punched a bear in the face to save his chihuahua... After these...

Re: Drift boat value

Sounds like the boat is a part of you man... Married in it? Maybe you just need to give Xzibit a call to pimp your boat... How tough could it be to figure out how to add a few more rod holders to a...

I have a BH 5 & 7 and they are by far my favorite rods to fish... And they look stunning as well

Just a heads up... There's two 4wt Superfine glass rods for sale over at the...

Re: studs!

At a $1 a stud... They're not any cheaper than ones made for wading boots. Sheet metal screws work well and are dirt cheap

Re: Which sunglass retainer?

The other day I saw some company has designed visors with sleeves on both sides that the arms slide into to help keep your glasses from flying off during such incidents. Unfortunately shaved heads...

Re: Head cement options?

Re: Musky Rod recommendation

Hmm weird. My old Fenwick had no issue sinking a hook into the mouth of a muskie. Fast rods don't solve much of anything in the way of problems. It's just a preference.

Re: Musky Rod recommendation

Why worry about the brand when it seems you're fixated on the price and that it really only has a limited use to you. Cabelas right now has a heavy weight rod in their bargain cave. ...

Re: Hot Weather Wading

I use to preach how awesome Permethrin was until I found out how harmful it can be to trout and other fishes.

Re: So you caught a sucker/fallfish what do you do?

I've heard freshwater drum are delicious. You just need to put them on ice immediately or they don't taste so well from what I've been told

Re: So you caught a sucker/fallfish what do you do?

If it's got fins I enjoy catching it... Even those invasive fish such as the brown trout.

Re: What have you been tying today?

I'm with Stenacron and Vulpes... Ditch the hackle. Deer hair floats well enough and the caddis sits in the film rather than on top which imo works better for the pickier trout sipping naturals than...
