Another recommendation for not wearing waders.
Think of it as 2 separate adventures.
The hike in and out and fishing.
Wear breathable layered clothing on the way in so you can take off layers...

I have a used, but in excellent condition a Ross Evolution #3 fly reel and a spare spool.

This is the ticket. Used it yesterday, just stir up the water with your foot, place net down stream, examine bugs, to clean turn 180 and let current do the work. Shake and it is dry.

The one that has worked best for me recently is the Enigizer one 7 LEDs with 4 modes. Small, batteries last, light, and just plain works.
