very cool flies. Is there a reason to NOT tie wet flies on a point up hook? Perhaps the slight cocking action they might have when stripping?

how cold is too cold?

So this weekend seems like its going to be pretty darn warm (around 33F) but thats still pretty close to freezing. I was wondering if fly lines can be used in around those temperatures? i'm afraid...

I use rubber as i too heard it was easier on the fish since it doesn't absorb anything. Theyre heavier but not heavy enough to sink my wood framed net, plus i have a pretty small net anyways....

Pretty much the only fly fishing shows i get to see are the ones on WFN.
