Re: Sitting here in the heat...

Ummm . . . why would you use a frozen hinge to freeze your nuts?

Couldn't you just fill your underwear with ice or something?

Besides, if someone opened that door while you were freezing your...

Re: Huge, Toothy Fish Seen as Weapon vs. Asian Carp

Based on the title of the thread, I thought Jaws was going to be fired from a cannon . . .

Re: Visibility after dark...

Unless you fish at a higher altitude , say above 5000', your best bet is a little moonlight to help things out. Above 5,000' and a clear night, the stars can sometimes offer enough light to see a...

Re: Synthetic bucktail?

The last time I bought bucktail was about 5 years ago, so I have to ask, has bucktail gotten expensive since then? I just don't remember paying much for one . . . never mind, I'll just go look some...

Re: Awesome Wyoming TR....

Well, I think we have to coerce Moots to come next year anyway, as our permanent papparazzi photographer; he puts my efforts to shame for sure.

And Ard, if you say you're coming down, I'll make...

Re: Tippet Ring Knot

I use three different styles/sizes of rings. One is 'big,' I could probably tie a palomar knot onto it with 20 lb. test. I use those for big flies or sub-surface stuff.

I also have a ring style...

Re: Fly Fishing with Forum Members in Wyoming

Just a few qick pics from the now-annual WY trip with Big Mac, Muzz, and co. This year I got to meet WayCool and Mootsfly, and a couple other guys whose online handles escape me at the moment. Had...

Re: Tippet Ring Knot

Palomar. Fast, ridiculously simple, stronger than any other typical fishing knot. And easy. Really simple. Really fast.

Did I say simple?

Re: Are these prices too good to be true?

Did a quick search for Logiste tackle scams . . . Not much there, but according to some folks on another forum, it's likely that it's a scam. In fact, one of the responders is Scott Throop from Avet...

Re: Sun mask????

I have more than a half dozen sun masks, and fished with them all, in colors ranging from solid hunter orange to various camo patterns to skull and crossbones. I honestly don't think the fish care...

Re: Flathead River Montanna

I've floated it a number of times, mostly just for fun, but I fished it last year. It's big, and probably pretty fast right now. And beautiful. And of course, there are fish. And they eat really...

Re: Body of missing Rafter Found, Boise ID News

A few years ago I went up to MT to visit a couple good friends of mine and we went on a float of the Flathead R. (pretty sure it was the Flathead). Well, it was just a month or so after ice-out, and...

Re: Scientific Anglers line splits and breaks

Re: Scientific Anglers line splits and breaks

A few years back I bought two Sharkskin lines from SA for retail ($99), and as far as casting/fishing performance I couldn't have been more satisfied. However, both lines began cracking (all the way...

Re: Need help. Loading a reel.

I know this isn't particularly popular (though I have no idea why), but why don't you just get the guys at Cabela's to load your reel? If your Cabela's has a fly shop, then they have the equipment,...

Re: You may not be able to go far ... Electric cars.

Don't know diddly about Ecars, other than Tesla seems to have somehow jumped way ahead of the competition.

As far as solar, I don't know about the rest of the country, but I've had solar at the...
