Did you happen to stop by any fly shops while you were there? My favorite shop in the world is in West Yellowstone, MT. Bud Lilly's. Bud is an awesome guy.

Upgrading already....

So last year I started a thread asking for suggestions on a rod and reel as a complete beginner. I ended up buying a rod and reel from Orvis and it did it's job...I'm addicted and know how to cast...

Wading pants.

If I don't plan on getting above mid thigh, can I get away with wading pants? Or would you recommend getting full waders "just in case"?

Just an update: Still haven't settled on a rod and reel yet. I have been looking at the Allen reels and if someone could let me know how to get ahold of Allen on here, I might just pull the trigger....
