I dead drift buggers under either an egg or nymph pattern for GL Steelhead. Finish the drift out and then let the flies swing. It's like a double edged sword...don't get them on the dead drift,...

Someone needs to pick this rod up. I can vouch for how awesome they are, although I sold my 3wt TXL and replaced it with a Circa. Price is reasonable too!

1995 Land Rover Range Rover...sexy, refined, slow, yet surprisingly powerful. Although the Rover is heavy and the circa is not.

8'4" 3wt will do ya just fine in most situations with avg size...

10' 7wt or 11' 6wt switch for me in NE Ohio. Personally, I stay away from the 9' rods bc I like the extra reach when fishing the tribs around here.
