Re: From NZ, Moved to Boston - Places to Fly Fish with no car?

WOW! No response from nz_fisherman?

I was actually very happy with the answers that we provided. I thought the "zip car" idea was very cool. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for credit,...

Hey John,

You better have that house built before the 19th of September. No excuses. The Big Hole is calling. I hope lifeonthefly14 and you can hook up for a few hours.

I don't usually disagree with people but krikau27 is way off the mark!

The simple fact that he has caught a 7 pound salmon in bare feet in the middle of a...

Great fish and I'm just happy that you had a great time. After all, that's all that matters. You don't have to go to far to find GREAT fishing in Maine. Just go into some of the North Maine Woods...

Re: First 2014 Striper

Re: Switch/Spey on the Deerfield ?

Got it. I wasn't sure where you were going. I would be willing to bet that you would be able to gain the same advantage "swinging" flies in the high water using a sink tip line. The river isn't...

Hi Joe,

Unfortunately, I won't be able to spend an entire week on the river, I was only stating the fact that we don't need much in terms of comfort and we leave no trash behind.

Re: On My way to Pittsfield ,Ma.

I'm hoping to have the "pick of the crop" come May! minimal needs, minimal impact.:) Paul and I could camp for a week, eat great, have fires every night, and nobody would ever know we were there.

Great Point moucheur2003, although I tend to release everything, I can see keeping a few for dinner if I did camp. After all, isn't that just supposed to be a part of camping while fishing? Thanks...
