Re: No CO Fishing East of I25

St Vrain is John Gearich's home water. It can be tricky to get down to it though. Lots of cactus and loose rock, and brush. Big Thompson has fish in it, I caught rainbows and browns in it.

Re: STL get together

They are actually being stocked there to combat the cocoepods that are parasitic to the rainbows. They can attach themselves to the browns, but they can not complete their lifecycle on a brown. So...

MDC is doing a super stocking of browns in the red ribbon area. Normally they stock a couple times a year with 8-12" browns. They are going to/have stocked it recently with 15-20" browns.

Re: Ross CLA or Lamson Konic/Guru?

Guru all the way. Mine are tough as nails. Konic on the other hand I have bent them and seen them badly bent. Even seen one run over by a truck, but few reels will survive that.

Re: Roatan Honduras - Anyone fished there?

Never fished there, but I have been there. Its a nice place, I wouldn't mind going back. We snorkeled there and saw lots of fish, so I'd imagine that you can catch all kinds of stuff.
