I wish it were different, but my best friends don't fly fish. But I love high end gear more than the cheap stuff. It looks nice and makes me feel connected to the past... Fine cork just feels...

This is probably the #1 tactic on the closest trout stream to me... The Blue River in OK. Deadly, stripping almost never works. Confounded me, but now I primarily fish it with a creation like you...

I mostly roll with a lanyard for things I need most handy... Tippett, nippers, dry fly whatever enhancer, hemos, sunglass rag, and a built in fly changer one each side that just some foam wrapped...

Agreed here as well, that is in great shape... I have the exact one mated to a 4711 LL, one of my dad's old rigs that he luckily passed down to me early so I can fish it with him now while he's still...

Polar Ignitor... The best lens tint ever for redfish??

So I've heard that the Polarchromic Ignitor from Smith is the best lens for spotting redfish on the flats... I know that for someone who doesn't fish in salt as often as I'd like, it's hard to adjust...

Not to hijack here, but I just bought a used 691 ONE and have only lawn cast it (the people at the park at the end of my street think I'm nuts, have for years... Practicing is fun when you don't have...
