Silver- Paul Melnyk (the guy who stated it) is a legend around here-- it's done with wet suit, fins and a spinning reel and a surf rod. You'll need a waterproof reel (like a Van Staal) and it helps...

Your reel will take about 220 yards of 30 lb Dacron or Micron backing plus a weight forward 10 weight fly line.

As far as fly lines go, I've mostly used various Scientific Anglers Mastery lines...
