Re: Going back in time with wet flies

I would agree. I think that is another reason why I like night fishing as you get back to the drug in the tug. Looking forward to spending some time, with my oldest son, this weekend doing some...

I have a friend that has the same rod and reel. He has similar applications as your intent. He has been very satisfied with the set up and I have seen him catch steelhead in the 15 lb range and...

Re: I am on the verge of quitting

I am not a golfer, but I seem to draw similar conclusions with those that are not happy with their golf swing and also their casting. I have been at this for 11 years and I was a spin fishermen...

Re: LMF trip 5-17-2016

I visit my parents, in the Tulsa area, during the holidays each year. I keep saying that I will get down to this area. I usually settle for the Illinois and catch a lot with midges.

Re: A Night Fishing Consensus?

My best fishing has been on non-moon nights as I believe that the Browns are more active when it is the lowest of the light conditions. They feel more protected with the cloak of a dark night. ...

Re: Steelhead Ally Trip 4/8-4/10

Oh yes, the joy of trying to time a trip. I would love to come out earlier, but playing softball with my sons. I pitch and the game are on Saturday's, so I have to await until the end of the season.

Re: Steelhead Ally Trip 4/8-4/10

Larry-lol! I totally agree. It looks better with the Simm's hood up and covering most of it. It certainly keeps the ears warm when the wind chill is close to zero. MIke and I will have far less...

Re: How many waders do you have?

I did have a nice story...
