You will like it, I have the 691-4 ONE and its a pretty sweet stick. I struggled throwing a meat whistle with it, but thats a 1/0 hook with a tungsten cone and lead wrapped shank...PS I was tummy...

Well thanks to a lot of kind feedback from tiers here I revamped how I tie the parachute adams. I tied up 9 and took them fishing and they floated so much better.

Ok thats funny because Leroy has a tying show on PBS and it is like Mr And Mrs Rogers tie flies....I dvr it and watch it occasionally and my wife laughs at me cause it is pretty dry. But I've learned...

Exactly, its a great line I have it from the old mastery textured trout, to the new shark wave/wavelength textured trout. IT is my default line for dry fly rods or dry fly fishing.

Sage 376-4 ZXL, its a great rod but I have a 1,3,4wt TXL 390-4 ONE and 389-4 Circa so to much overlap. The ZXL doesn't get the time on the water it deserves.

Ive got the simms one as well and my only complaint too is the holster. You would think since I have simms waders the belt they put on those would fit through the belt loop of the neoprene staff...

Agreed yes can totally tell a Brookie, Sage click etc etc from a Allen Kraken for sure. But a Abel creek and a Ross evolution ... Not so much

I was in buying new boots the other day and the sales guy says well these are 8oz heavier than the other pair. I smiled and said well I am 6'1" 248lbs so the extra 8 oz probably wont be a deal...
