Never had much luck fishing for kings mid-october. We normally go up mid september and stick big flies in front of fresh kings at the dsr.
Of course mid/late october is great for steelhead.

Honestly can't imagine I'd ever sell this rod for less...

BTW thanks to all who replied and sent me messages. Going to check around a little more before I put a price on it.

Pete, sure hope that ebay rod price goes up. $50 wont buy me much of a wader.

I cant find many marks on the rod so I'd guess it might have never been used. Not bad for a rod 29 years old. As I said I only do a little local trout fishing and I already have an Orvis ZG so dont...

.....ditto on the waist pack. I too spin it around the back and it's out of the way. The only issue I have is what to do with my wading jacket :confused:

In very nice condition with the original tube. The cork is a little dirty and thats about it. I don't believe I ever registered the rod. Great steelhead rod for a $160.
