Re: Thinkng about a Drift boat!

You are running the stealthcraft correct? How are you liking that if you are? Looks like from my little research I would like to look further into the Stealthcraft that is pictured in the "lets see...

Re: Favorite number of rod pieces?

I prefer 2 piece rods. You can run a 4 piece like a 2 piece but still not the same to me. I have a 3 piece TXL that I love to fish but hate the way a 3 piece breaks down when you want to leave it...

Re: Thinkng about a Drift boat!

Thanks for taking the time listing questions I need to answer for myself. I have been a stubborn learn for myself kind of guy my whole life. I like to compile all different kinds of info and find a...

Re: At least he was honest!

This store is new just opened this spring. Like I said at least he was honest. Help is hard to find. It seems to be a student based employment town so at least they are trying!

At least he was honest!

I have never been much at shopping at Cabelas but recently won a couple hundred dollar gift card at a Sporting Clays shoot this summer and thought I would burn it up. As I wondered through the store...

Thinkng about a Drift boat!

Have been looking at a few drift boats. Have a couple lightly used ones close to me. One is a Hyde and the other is a Clackacraft. Just checking to see if anyone has any pros and or cons as to the...

Wet or Dry

I like my Chicago style beef sandwich on the dry side but tend to leave the dry flies in the box. I bring them out on occasion on those perfect calm trout siping days and to get a giggle out of my...

Scott Grabowski. The finest series of "Scott" rods are named after me. The G series! Not really but sounds good.

Re: What do consider a full set

I would think it is more about the cover that is fished rather than size of the bass. Thick Lilly and heavy downed tree cover will take a little more backbone than just about any 5wt could offer.

Re: Fly shops

Larry I will try and bring myself to walk back in the shop and mention it. I guess it is a known fact in the area if you don't pull up in a 60-80k SUV you don't get service and now I am aware of it....

Fly shops

Just wanting to get some opinions on fly shop employee attitudes. Stopped by a shop up by the cabin and the sales guy was one rude fellow. A father and son stopped in while I was there and the...

Re: $1 Fly Reel for the Launch of the Taylor Reels Array

Back in the day we didn't need to worry about etiquette! Bridge wasn't there, none of these boats, heck they didn't even have tires yet!

Re: ' Toon Trip

Recently picked up a Scadden pontoon and love it. Very stable and the leaning bar is very stable for stand up fishing to stretch the legs out. Have been in a few local lakes and have drifted a couple...

Re: Too many rods, is that possible???????

I built a couple Loomis IMX's 12 years ago and added them to the collection on the racks. I had the urge to pull one out for the first time a couple weeks ago "looked so nice to me" and while on the...
