Ok, I have been searching and nothing has popped out at me. I tied these up. The first one is the first picture in my mind of your discription. The second and third are the same fly but different...

I will try that way to. Seems easier than what I just tied. Although it wasnt as hard as I thought it would be. I just tied this one up. It is a rough picture.

Hey, looking at that the first thing that comes to mind is....using a dark yellow spinnerbait skirt for the tail. I would use a big streamer hook maybe larger than a 6. Weight it down with .30 lead...
