My wife and I watched that movie again this past year for maybe the 4th or 5th time. Yea it was clearly shot throughout the Wasatch Range area - spectacular country with of course some not so shabby...

Beautiful pictures Stenacron ! I swear that first pic at the top looks like a scene right out of Redford's western classic "Jeremiah Johnson" which of course was wholly filmed in Utah. Thanks man.

I fished the Upper in late September, and I've never seen so many people on that segment of the Provo before ? It was beautiful Utah Fall weather, as it usually is in September, but there was a ton...

No have not had any problems with the "Mirrow Lake" road being closed. It's just some of the side roads off of the ML road which apparently lead to higher elevations or further back into the back...

Yes but there's a much smaller population in YNP subject to a bear attack than the number nationally subject to a lightning strike. And there's also a much, much smaller population of people fishing...

The socalled "great recession" began back around the 2008-09 period which of course was precipitated by the 'Subprime" mess in mortgages, so the economy has gradually improved since about 7 years...

I've flown into both Missoula and Bozeman in the past and I also use to fly into Boise and all of those places have lost air service in recent years in terms of frequency and cost of air service....

Really that's interesting ? I figured Missoula probably had more commercial flights/passenger traffic than Bozeman or any other city in MT except for perhaps Billings ?
