Re: Sage SALT

I took advantage of the roll out of the Salt to get an Xi3 12-wt with extended handle for a phenomenal price. I love the fact that if I love a rod, I can wait 2 or 3 years and love it for a lot less....

Re: High end ultra light rod

The Sage Circa 2 weight is a great little rod. I picked one up at the beginning of the year and used it on spring bluegills. It has a soft action and is pencil-thin, but casts nicely, especially roll...

Re: Orvis C.F.O.

Re: Abel vs. Hatch Debate

I'm a big fan of Abel. They are manufactured just down the road from me by some really talented and passionate people. I own eight of them, and the special finishes are hard to beat. Only two of mine...

Re: Simms Waders

My first pair of waders were a close out pair from Orvis. They were good starters, but my G3's that replaced them are in their own category. You get what you pay for. You'll likely go through several...

Re: One Surf Fly Fishing Event

Guys, it was an interesting format. The incentive to contribute a worthy fly was the fact that you wanted to receive a good one for yourself, but also the fly tyers were rewarded for the first fish,...
