Re: White Bass Run in Akransas

There were a ton of folks at Twin Bridges today. I don' know if they are catching the white bass yet.

I'd rather fish War Eagle or Spring Creek than put up with the rod and reel guys at Twin...

Re: Anyone fishing the Ozarks this year

The fishing has been pretty decent in southeast Oklahoma on the Lower Mountain Fork. The crowds haven't been too bad on the weekends thus far.

Re: March Madness (Fish)

Thank you for the kind words. All of the trout in these pictures were caught on different color variations of a size 16 zebra midge. The Crappie were caught on a crawfish pattern and/or a white jig...

Good luck. Where are you heading next? The Little Red near Heber Springs is not too far a drive.

Re: Cache la Poudre River, Fort Collins?

Not meaning to hijack, but I am moving to Greeley, CO this summer for an internship and was wondering if the Cache la Poudre River in Ft. Collins would be the closest stream to try and fish?

Re: Heading to Arkansas

I'd have to go with Bull Shoals-White River State Park in north Arkansas. Good fishing and not too far from Harrison. Shouldn't be too crowded this time of year either.

Bull Shoals White River...

Re: Moonshine

The best shine I've ever had comes out of the hills of southwest Arkansas and southeast Oklahoma. I always keep some in the cabinet.

I will fish below the re-reg dam a few times during November and December, but for the most part I'll park and start fishing right below the tail water dam. I like to fish all the way down to the low...

Re: Information about Klootchy Creek Park.

Exactly what I needed to know. I visited the park some 20 years ago and couldn't remember if fishing was allowed or not. I'll probably stick to clamming on the beach or fishing closer to the coast. I...
