jbbfly VERY HIGH style points on the wooden fly box. Magnificent.

I really like the wind river floating plastic boxes for my dries. The foam is firm, but not to stiff to hold tiny midges and...

I think that glass or bamboo are the ultimate small stream rods. The sage ZXL is a good rod. It can do a little bit of everything, but I haven't found it to be great at anything (ducking for cover) ...

i agree with Hardy, I am getting a hardy glass 3 weight in the near future, and if you intend to use a three weight for its intended uses, then I see no need for a fast action 3 weight.

Bummed I dont have pictures, but my favorite reels would have to be my Hardy Flyweight, and then I would put down the Green Galvan Openback I have. awesome reels.

for the past 5 years, Ive spent at least two weeks fishing Colorado in the summer. On the tailwaters, I usually do fish a 4 weight. Mostly for the reason of short casts. And yes, you do need a rod...

Ive had nothing but trouble with my TQR's, they've broken three times, and I treat my gear gingerly. But, since Cabelas has the greatest return policy of all time, I wouldn't hesitate to get one....

In General, this is what I belive to be true:

Slow Rod=Full Flex (Bamboo/Fiberglass)

Medium Rod=Mid Flex, a softer rod from the mid section to the tip.

Medium Fast= Kinda the best of both...
