My wife hates it when I leave my waders in the car overnight. I sold my truck to move south and now we share vehicles and she absolutely hates me when I leave my net and or waders in the car.

Keep in mind something a little more simple. whether it's your golf swing (Lee Trevino, Jim Furyk) or your baseball pitch (tommy Jon, Chad Bradford) or the tennis stroke (Bjorn Borg, Rafa Nadal)...

Just as we had hooks to hang our waders from in the mud room we hung our socks after ensuring they were fee of debris. The sock was a critical component for us back in the day of the rubber wader....

I bought my first float tube in 1982, a green canvas cover for a truck tube. I didn't inflate it enough and did not use swim fins...Needless to say my debut was a disaster. Could not go anywhere...

Loomis was my direct competitor so I never have given them the fair shake on some of...

As others have stated, I most commonly choose the fly rod to apprehend my quarry. I also commonly catch myself feeling like it may be a better, more pure and less backwoods ass way to go about...

8'6" is the ultimate rod length for me. I would love to dissect the physics of it.

Seems like the law of diminishing returns comes into play as the rods get longer.
