Re: GoPro or Point & Shoot

My wife got me a GoPro 2 last week and I love it. It doesn't get much simpler. I heard there was a learning curve with them but I didn't find that myself.

Re: If you could be air-dropped to fish anywhere in America....

In America it would be Alaska for some Salmon of various types.
In North America would have to be Labrador for HUGE Brookies, Artic Char, Pike and Atlantics.

Re: First Trout Caught

I'll be trying for some sea runs tomorrow before work. People are pulling in some good sized (20-24'') sea run brook trout right by my office this week.

I'd kept trying for him but I had no bit tippet with me. I am going to tie a much larger version to try and catch him and get my fly back.

Re: Anyone trending upward in rod weight?

90% of the time I fish a 9wt. The reason for this is 90% of the time I fish where the atlantics live. I have a 7wt and 5wt but they are for rare trout/bass trip usage.
