Has anyone casted one of these? Thoughts? The specs on the rods are great and I'm in the market for a new 11 or 12 wt rod. I've read great things but haven't had a chance to cast one my self....

I fish quite a bit in the keys. I would definitely not try it there. Sharks are thick, quite a few boats around etc. could be very dangerous.

I believe that sage has there " peacock" rods that are shorter. A friend of mine has one for everglades tarpon and he loves it.
