Re: Sage Fly Rods for Salmon/Steelhead

Thanks, Gary.

Sorry about that! I'm not sure why the links weren't working, as the listings are all still active. Perhaps it is because I was logged into my own account when I created the links...

For Sale: Sage RPLXi 9' 8wt Fly Rod

I'll let the listing speak for itself, but this is a no reserve, free shipping auction starting at $349.50. If you're in the market for a single-handed rod, you'd be hard pressed to find a better...

Re: The most Gratifying piece of gear

Gotta go with my 7/8N Abel reel. There is just absolutely nothing like the feel of a steelhead putting that thing to the test. It's quite a piece of engineering.

Re: Sight fishing or blind fishing?

I LOVE sight fishing but find myself shooting in the dark more often than not. I sure envy the guys that have the luxury of fishing the Caribbean. What a way to fish.

Re: Do you buy or tie?

I thought I was the only fly fisher on the planet that didn't like to tie his own flies. I understand how it would be a real thrill to hook something with your own creation, but I just don't think I...

I always feel like I'm one-upping nature when it's 34 degrees outside and I'm standing in the middle of a glacial river. It's an amazing feeling, but still doesn't compare to really being "in" the...

Re: How many kind of fish do you target?

Re: The Broken Rod Poll; Edited, New Catagory added.

I'm always happy to learn...

Re: Bonneville dam web camera on the Columbia River.

Dabny Tips?

Howdy folks,

I'm fairly new to the sport but have been enjoying my time out on the Sandy. I'm using a single-hand 9' 8wt with the new Rio Scandi Versitip system, which I like a lot.

I'm...
