Re: Camo fly line?
Just for the heck of it, I am going to contact Rio and SA to ask them why they don't make more white fly lines "or any at all" for say standard issue Trout fishing and see what they say. Should be...

Re: Camo fly line?
Surprising that after viewing the information in that book, I don't know of a single company making "white" fly lines.
Anyone know of any? Would also aid in knowing when to clean your fly line...

Re: Literature...
Sorry! I guess I should have been a little more specific!
Not just fly fishing, but loosely related.
Right now I am finishing up a book on the history of the Colorado River titled "River Notes"...

Re: Abel Reels Under New Ownership
Was one of the reasons I posted this :)
Makes you wonder if the change in ownership had anything to do with the smearing of that apparently ex-stakeholders last name... LOL
I always like to...

Re: Streamer rod suggestion
Scott S4 and VXP in my opinion have too soft of a tip to be good streamer rods, especially big streamers.
The S4s on the other hand is fantastic.
Like anything, personal preference will play a...

One thing you may consider...
The Sage reel is made in South Korea
Galvan is made in USA

Re: Reel suggestions for 9ft 5wt Hardy Zenith
Out of those 3, while all having great drag systems, the Galvan is the most sturdy for sure, but the other two aren't junk by any means.
It would be between the Nautilus and Galvan for me, but for...
