Mostly larger streams and my neighborhood lake for panfish and occasional small bass. It looks like the H2 would be the better fit, thanks for the info.

Thanks for the info, looks like I need to take a look at Sage a little more. I've never fished a rod shorter than 7'6 so I'm not sure how the 6' would do. I'm also trying to decide between a 2 or 3.

I thought the same thing about the mangrove. So far the 3 rods that I've cast and liked are TFO Mangrove, Orvis Access and the Sage Xi3. Just always believed that you get what you pay for.

Needing a rod for bigger trout streamers and occasional light salt water trip. I've cast a BVK and mangrove, they were nice. Once you add a case your close to most midrange rods. 400 is my budget...
