Re: Lamson Liquid and Remix

The castings seemed thinner than I would have expected/liked. My friend slipped twice yesterday and my galvan reel saved the rod from hitting rock, and wasn't any worse for wear. I would have some...

I'm not sure I understand how a concave spool can effect line pile up? I would think you would end up filling the concave area with backing and thus making the spool flat across, right?
I can see...

Re: Braving the Cold This Weekend.

New girl and I ended up on the Big T today from about 1030-1300. It was her first time and she landed two including the prettiest brown I have ever seen (if someone has photobucket to post she'd be...

Re: Help?!?! Private Stocked Water With Fed Fish

An unweighted egg sucking streamer pattern with the "egg" dog food colored and sized, Twitch it like a fingerling feeding on dog food.

Re: Braving the Cold This Weekend.

Re: Taylor Reels on the Forum

Kickstart seems to be a pretty cool way for folks to chase their dreams! Are they manufactured in New Mexico?

Re: Question about rod and reel cases

I have this in the double rod version. It has one divider on each side making for two compartments per rod. Three of the sections get wrapped in the rod sock in one section and the butt with reel...

Re: Stripping guide adhesive

A little bit, I will have someone post up a pic when the epoxy pops off. I'll probably see if I can wiggle it off without too much force.
I still haven't heard back from Hardy which makes me want...

Re: Stripping guide adhesive

Turns out that foot of the guide never got wrapped at the factory. The thread wraps below it were not damaged in the least and had finish over them. None of the finish was disturbed in the area and...

Re: Hardy zenith one piece rod

So I guess my question is: Can I throw streamers with the 5wt? I was wanting a 6wt due in large part to S&S's 6wt revolution-ish thread about how they can still play the small dries game but can...
