I carry a SpyderCo knife similar to that, it operates so smooth you can get the blade out and locked darn near as fast as an automatic. The SpyderCo is so nice I actually didn't feel humiliated...

No not silly

I have a snowblower that goes through 24" of snow. I just bought a snow pusher for 35 bucks it is awesome for sub 8" of snow.

Snow pusher is a wide yet short so 36"Wx14"H or so...

Yes the ONE is quite fast but still has tons of feel and an unbelievable amount of accuracy

I do "struggle" with less than 15 ' of floating line out, I just have to be a little more conscious of...

Yeah they were saying it could be as much as a 50 degree swing in certain areas today, it is certainly the beginning of the end for us here in Denver

Without having cast it , it is hard to describe but here goes anyway

The avid is very much on the medium end of a med-fast rating. The rod flexes deep but not like a Sage Circa or Reddington CT...

Very true I use my ZXL as a verbal reference point when talking about the Avid. I find them to be very similar. The Avid is the only rod I regret selling.
