Here on the Canadian side of Lake Huron, tributaries are 67-72 degree water temps still. Hell, I was on a charter last week...and water temp at 112 feet was 65. TOOO WAARRMMMM!!!!

My first look was immediately 'a chub' the faint black dot at the base of the caudal fin and the black tips of the caudal fin.

I build my own leaders...stepped leaders exclusively out of mono....but tippets are flouro. A typical simple steelhead nymph rig may look like....
