I like the design of the Tenkara nets " the bent handle makes for scooping fish much easier I would to have a tradition net with a bent handle. But have never found one.

If true line wt. line than SA trout over rio trout , also texture trout is a good choice or rio gold , rio grand is full line wt. heavy also SA GPX . I have no idea about your rod have never cast one.

I like several older Sage rods , 389ll ,490 SLT. For drys, 490 XP for nymphs , 496 z axis for double nymphs rig. 691 XP, 791 XP streamers, smallmouth bass. Got to have more than just ONE

I have a problem I like so many of these I have a had time deciding which I am going to date today. Nrx ,Zenith, Radian ,or Sage never cared for Orvis they have ugly legs.

If you want a great rod for small stream ck out a Loomis gl3 in 7 1/2 4 wt a fantastic rod you can find the on the bay for around $150.00 a real joy. To bad they are no longer made.

Zenith if you can find one last year model . I got a last season model for 1/2 price , but I have a Nrx also if you like both than price would dictate choice, both great rods.
