Look into a hybrid. Like a Scadden Predator. It's the best of both worlds. It's a float tube but when you need to cover water, put your feet up and row. There's no comparison between wind influence...

A float tube is my favorite way to fish still water. Bar none! It's all about control. Especially for warm water lakes n ponds. You can work your way along structure and stealthily keep yourself...

Thank you. The under structure is flat plastic. You can use a milk jug or that awful clear plastic that so many products are packaged in these days. I actually cut up a used credit card for these :D...

it sounds like you are very well equiped for both species. The shooting head is going to give you the quick descent you need for tuna. The only downside is the mono type running lines can be unruly....

wjc explained everything you need to know. If youre putting a standard 90+ foot flyline on the reel, cut the running line off. You dont need it. it is specifically for shooting heads
