Everything was EARLY this year on the Lake,,,,the Copper was full of big trout spawning all May and then most were ragged and came back into the lake. No the river is overrun with small fish making...

I don't like sink tips but I love the teeny T-130 for larger nymphs and mid-sized streamers here on the Copper.

To land a Big fish on light tackle you have to use your backing and hoof it to the fish if possible. I've caught a few trout close to 30" on my 4wgt with a 4x tippit and it wasn't a torturous...

My favorite rod is an Orvis 9'6" 6 wgt Rainbow Plus!

One of my last official acts this Oct was to break the tip,I hope Orvis can match it. It's a little stiff but it sure does throw a 160gr Teeny...
