I have a 5wt Clearwater from the mid '90's and was told when I got it that its mid-flex.I got a 2wt Clearwater last year and was also told it is mid-flex.

I mis-identified the Orvis as "furled" instead of "braided",didnt know there was a difference.I do know the Orvis is a mono or some such material and doesnt absorb water so it stays afloat...

I've got a bunch of them,5 1/2 ft,7 1/2 ft,9 ft and 12 ft.Some are from Orvis and some from Cutthroat.I like the Orvis better,although they dont have them on-line anymore,I did find some in their NYC...
