Standard or Large Loop Tip Top

Hello all,

I'm building a 10ft 4wt with REC black pearl snake guides, ending in a series of #2s coming up to the tip top. I'm wondering if I should put a large loop on it, or a standard sized loop...

Re: Build or Buy???

I have a friend who worked for orvis who had only bad things to say about the access line. He also knew several other fly fishing professionals (some also with orvis) who were of the same opinion....

Re: Fishing Spot Locater

I honestly don't see a problem with it. The entire point of this website is to share knowledge with other anglers so that they may be more successful. If you offer advice to someone at your local...

Re: trying to conquer what seems near impossible

If it makes you feel any better, I only caught one carp this year in all my times hunting them. Carp are one of those fish where just seeing one is like catching 5 bass, hooking one is like catching...

Maybe all crappie behave this way, or maybe they are just the ones by me, but they all dissappear during the summer. In the spring, I can go out to my local reservoir and catch about 20-30 in an...
