Most of the time I try to keep the rod up to keep the line off the water for a good drift. If the wind is blowing put some line on the water it helps anchor the tippet & fly.It just takes time to...

All my waders are from Cabelas felt & rubber sole boot & sock foot types. They are very good.unless the fish are super spooky I don't think tippet is needed I use 4 lb stren more than any thing else...

Some people still call white oak the robinon.When I go to white oak I take 231 S. from Sperryville turn right on 670 at Banco then turn right on 600 follow it to the park boundary I'm coming from...
